Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) hosted a meeting between the top hotels in Abu Dhabi and the biggest Destination Management Companies (DMCs) in Dubai and the Northern Emirates yesterday, to showcase Abu Dhabi’s best deals and offers in summer as well as to discuss ways to co-operate over the upcoming Abu Dhabi Summer Season.

“We are very excited to be able to highlight the multitude of marvellous Abu Dhabi summer offers and our packed Summer Season calendar to the DMCs at this showcase,” said Mubarak Al Nuaimi, Director of Promotions and Overseas Offices, TCA Abu Dhabi. “TCA Abu Dhabi is looking to extensively promote the emirate as a destination of distinction and venue for exceptional entertainment to DMCs domestically, regionally and also internationally, and we believe this is the perfect platform to achieve this.”

The briefing session, which attracted more than 50 DMCs and Abu Dhabi hotels, was held at the Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Kulwant Singh, Managing Director from Lama Tours said: “This meeting has highlighted one of the best campaigns held in Abu Dhabi during the summer season. The combination of entertainment and leisure activities for families will motivate visitors from short haul destinations such as within the GCC and India to visit Abu Dhabi.”

T.L.Iyer, General Manager, SNTTA Emir Tours agreed, saying: “We’ve seen excellent surprises which will stimulate a very positive response for tourism in Abu Dhabi. We are excited about it.”
